The dore corset laces from the top down and the

bottom up with the ties located at the waistline.

1. Make sure the corset laces are very loose.

2. Put the corset on and hook up the front. if the laces are too tight you will not be able to hook the busk.

3. Locate the loops at the waist, these will be used to draw the corset in at the waist.

4. Start lacing at the top working down toward the waist keeping an even tension on the strings as you pull each set

of grommets tight. a properly fitting corset will have a gap of 4-6'" in the lacing.

5. Once the top is tight, work up from the bottom toward the waist.

6. Corset should be very snug but not so tight as to restrict breathing.

7. Once the laces are tight, tie the ends off at the waist and tuck the tails into the corset. DO NOT rap stings around waist to tie in front.
